24 things I love...
+terry cloth for all!
Oh hey!!!
So, I turned 46 (gasp!) back in April and I started compiling a list of 46 things I love, but I think we’ll have to settle for 24! Maybe there will be a part 2!
Shaving my legs every single day. My theory is, if you shave every day, it’s like a 30 second job, but if you skip days, it definitely becomes a chore. I have a Flamingo razor, but I still think men’s razors work best.
Socializing with friends by grabbing coffee and going for a long walk - there’s no better start to the day than talking, walking and caffeinating.
Terry cloth. If you haven’t made terry sets your whole personality this summer, allow me to help! (See below.)
Having different glasses options to match my vibe, I wrote about a few new pairs here.
Homemade desserts and homemade salad dressings. My go-to desserts are this, this and this. And this dressing is always a crowd pleaser, but honestly even just lemon, olive oil, mustard, capers and parmesan is better than any store-bought dressing.
My kindle! But that doesn’t stop me from buying books every time I enter a book store. I just ordered this cover and it sparks joy.
Speaking of books, cookbooks. I have a hard time passing up a beautiful cookbook and I have them stacked all over my kitchen.
Sephora same-day delivery. I keep rebuying this, this and this. And also grocery delivery! Yes there’s a fee, but I also avoid impulse buying new protein bars or the hottest new cbd soda, so I think it balances out.
Cloth napkins, especially these and these. And I have a ton of these, they wash super well. And omg THESE!
My new pool “Robot” - the kids have named her Betty and my pool has never looked so clear!
Living next door to my parents and down the street from my sister. no explanation needed.
Living in California! I spent 10 years in Portland, and I loved it SO MUCH, but not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for blue skies, mild temps and sunshine.
A really inventive tequila cocktail with like, cilantro or a celery juice or kumquats.
Short nails in milky white or orangey red. I admire the long nails, I really do, but I will never not be a short nail girl.
Pilates! And I especially love my Loops straps.
Girl dinners where we share a few sides, salads and one entree.
My husband getting stuff done around the house or in the yard with a hat backwards. hot.
Lamenting that my kids won’t stay in their bed all night, but then waking up to their sweet faces in the morning.
Tinting my own brows with this. OMG, it’s so fast and easy and a total game changer. Everyone I know is tired of hearing about my brows.
When someone texts me, “Ok, I need help finding an outfit to wear to ____…” Or, “What shoes should I wear with this…?” Literally my favorite thing.
Remembering a band I used to be obsessed with and haven’t listened to in years. Lately it’s been The Thermals, Wolf Parade and Lykke Li.
A great ceramic mug. And I either like my coffee in a to-go cup or a ceramic mug, like this, this or this. My cupholders have suffered, but I just can’t do a travel mug.
Watching my kids read! Even better is reading side by side. I just finished Whistler which I LOVED. (Everyone should watch Ann Patchett’s Ted talk.) Next up is this and this.
Meet my summer fling, Terry. The obsession is real!

For the kids, my daughter has both Seaesta items and they’re almost all she wears! I’m buying the gap tank set for her, too. I also ordered the navy Quince shorts for my husband . . . we’ll see if he’s into it!
As always, thanks so much for reading (and liking and sharing!) and let me know what I can help you find!
Be well and well-dressed,
Krissy
I may make a commission on some of these items if you purchase through my link. Thanks so much for the support!

I have to many important comments to make. Welcome to the family, Betty! I now want to tint my own brows and finally buy the damn hard cover cook book.
As always… love, love, love your writing…
Your selection of books and that you chose the house next to me:)
